About Us

Following graduation from the prestigious Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia in 1991 at the age of 21 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in United States History, George L. Karavias studied at Detroit College of Law, founded in 1891 as the first law school in Detroit and the second law school in the state of Michigan. Recently, the Detroit College of Law became affiliated with Michigan State as the Michigan State University College of Law.

After graduating from Law School in 1994, George L. Karavias passed the New York State Bar Examination on the first attempt. George L. Karavias then went to work to gain experience at New York City law firms before starting his own practice in 2000.

Since the year 2000, the office has grown from a few clients to many loyal clients who offer repeat business. George L.
