About Us

After graduating from the prestigious Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia at the age of 21 Mr. Karavias applied and was accepted to the Detroit College of Law, now part of Michigan State University. Following graduation from the Law School at the age of 24, Mr. Karavias passed the highly challenging New York State Bar Examination on the first attempt and proceeded to join a New York Law Firm specializing in Real Estate and Landlord & Tenant matters shortly thereafter.

George Karavias has enjoyed success as a Housing Court Attorney right from the start and opened the doors to his own law firm in January of 2000. Unlike other general practice attorneys who attempt to be masters of all trades, George Karavias has concentrated the vast majority of his practice on mastering the intricacies of New York Real Estate and Landlord & Tenant law.

Since the year 2000, our office has grown from a few clients to many loyal clients who request our legal services year after year.
